My daughter took this photo of a pumpkin that her uncle gave to her. Each year he plants this massive pasture full of pumpkin plants and then he harvests and donates them. He and his wife also, very sweetly, host a bonfire at their house and let all the kids pick a pumpkin to take home. It is one of their favorite things to look forward to.

This little creature, hummingbird bee moth, and his friends have been visiting our massive butterfly bush for a good week now. It's actually called a Hummingbird Moth, the British call them Bee Hawk-Moths, which I think I prefer. There should definitely be bee in the nomenclature. Anyway, the kids have been giddily showing them off to anyone and everyone who comes over to our house. Such a fasinating little creature.
